Title: Israel Engagement Coordinator

Lauren was born in Pittsburgh, PA  where she spent majority of her childhood before moving to Cincinnati, OH. and then Cleveland, OH for high school. While Lauren was off obtaining her BA in Early Childhood Education from Ohio University, her parents made one more move to Bloomfield Hills, MI. During her time at Ohio University, Lauren was actively involved in the Sigma Kappa sorority and Greek Life on campus. Since the age of 8, Lauren has spent her summers at Emma Kaufmann Camp first as a camper, then transitioning to a counselor for four years and a Unit Supervisor for two years. This past year, Lauren lived in Netanya, Israel as a MASA Israel Teaching Fellow where she fell in love with all things Israel. This year, Lauren brings her passion for Israel to Penn State as the Israel Engagement Coordinator where she will help students build their own personal connection to Israel.  In her free time, Lauren loves to spend time with friends and family, travel, and cook a new recipe! She looks forward to meeting all of the students at Penn State!
