Shachar-Lee Yaakobovitz

Title: Springboard Intraneurship Fellow

Shachar-Lee was born in Israel and moved at a young age to the United States, where she lived in New Jersey briefly and in California for over ten years. She comes from a Polish, North African, and Persian Jewish background, and is very proud to be Israeli. Shachar-Lee attended the University of California-Davis and obtained degrees in Theatre & Dance and Psychology, with a minor in Sociology. Shachar-Lee loved giving back to her Jewish community in college, having served as the student board VP of Operations for Hillel at Davis & Sacramento, President of the student club Aggies for Israel, and President of the Jewish social sorority Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and pets, drinking cold brew coffee, and traveling to new places. She is excited for her role as the Springboard Intrapreneurship Fellow where she can uplift students to become leaders in the Penn State Hillel community.
