The health and well-being of our students and community is Penn State Hillel’s greatest priority. We are in close communication with the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center staff and Penn State leadership for updates that will affect Hillel activities.
Penn State has taken precautions in terms of Coronavirus and how it can affect the Penn State community. No cases have been reported within any Penn State campus as of yet, and University-wide updates can be found here. Please check out the most recent message from Damon Sims, Vice President for Student Affairs.
Penn State has called for all classes to be conducted remotely beginning March 16 through the remainder of the semester. Students are encouraged to stay home or return home, and not stay on campus during this period. All events and programs during this time will be put on hold or conducted virtually. Check back here for updates on virtual events for Jewish life. We continue to closely monitor changes from the CDC and Pennsylvania state restrictions.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to our staff on campus for support in this difficult time.
