Madylin Garrett

Title: Springboard Ezra Fellow

Madylin was born and raised in Northern California before moving to Pennsylvania to attend Penn State University. She recently graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Child Maltreatment and Advocacy. During her time in college, Madylin completed a full-time internship with Penn State Hillel and did another at the Child Access Center, where she supervised court-ordered family visits. For the past few years, she’s volunteered on the hotline at Centre Safe to help sexual assault and domestic violence victims.

In her free time, Madylin enjoys reading, doing community service work, and hanging out with her two cats, Shnooky and Spooky. She’s always so excited to meet new people and will take any opportunity to talk about her cats. Madylin will be coming on as an Ezra Springboard Fellow and is so excited to meet all the students and be able to support them on their Jewish journeys!
