We’re hiring a team of chefs to cook for our weekly Shabbat dinners! Each chef must work at least 2 weeks a semester.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare the weekly Friday Shabbat dinners (currently for about 60-80 people/week) includes a meat, vegetarian and gluten-free option
- Creation of weekly menu plans and grocery list to provide the grocery shopper
- Managing a kosher kitchen and following all kosher food laws
- Abiding by ServSafe requirements
ServSafe certified preferred. There is an opportunity to get certified.
This job entails about 10 hours of work a week with a flexible schedule. Hours are typically completed between Wednesday-Friday.
