Partnered with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity is recognizing Holocaust Remembrance Day on Thursday, January 27th. Dr. Danny Sexton from Queensborough Community College will join virtually from 4:00 to 5:00 pm to speak about LGBTQ+ experiences during the Holocaust through photographs archived in the museum. This dynamic discussion will cross interdisciplinary lines as we talk about the difficulties that come with analyzing an event through photos where context can be fluctuating as well as recognizing disparities in the captured environment.
