Women Crush Wednesday with Yasmine Shabbo
| Join Miami Student, Emily Garforth ’21 and Hillel at Miami Executive Director, Whitney Fisch, as they engage in conversation with Yasmine Shabbo, a full-time mother and wife with a mission to address discrimination and Jewish culture. Learn how a woman who identifies with multiple minority groups uses her platform to give underrepresented voices a chance to shine. We’ll learn how Yasmine used food to speak out against cultural appropriation and educate Jews and non-Jews alike about Jewish politics and culture. Q & A will follow the 40 minute interview.
